Bridging Worlds
This book is a fictionalised account of the life of a Nigerian woman from a privileged background, who is moved from country to country and school to school during her childhood, separated from her mother and hindered in her search for love and happiness. When she meets and falls in love with an Italian, her problems seem compounded, but thanks to the courage, wisdom and determination of this not so unusual couple, in the face of prejudice and hardship, we have a glimpse of how bridges can be built between worlds: Old and New, men and women, African and European, people of different faiths and cultural understandings.
